In the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus is asked by his disciples which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus responds:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”

The mission of the Vineyard Church of Wellsboro is to be people of the Kingdom who embrace these two commandments and strive to live them out in our daily lives. By making our relationship with Jesus the first priority, we become more in tune with how to love others more authentically. These two commandments go hand-in-hand, and are the driving force of our mission here in Tioga County.
